Job Description
The Electrical and Instrumentation Inspector assists Quality Control and Inspection Manager by preparing, auditing, examining and performing inspection of Electrical & Instrumentation Vendor’s Inspection procedures.
• Schedules and coordinate inspections at VENDOR’s shop.
• Monitor and review the implementation of the Contractor’s quality management system in VENDOR documents.
• Provides technical assistance to Quality Control and Inspection Manager in selecting optimum procedures and/or techniques to meet project specifications.
• Delivers technical assistance to Quality Control and Inspection Manager
• Coordinates examination, inspection, and test plans with Quality Control and Inspection Manager and client representatives.
• Adheres to standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitoring and Observing the Inspection of all Electrical/Instrumentation material, assuring that all Vendor personnel and workmanship is accomplished in accordance with approved designs, international codes, standards and procedures

• Interfacing with the VENDORs ensuring that inspections are carried out correctly
• Monitoring and Observing the inspection activities
• Ensuring that the correct procedures are valid for the scope
• Monitor and observe inspections on equipment at VENDOR’s shops at planned intervals
• Monitor and observe VENDOR procured materials and reviewing material certification
• Ensure that the Final Vendor Data Books are properly documented and maintained by the VENDORs
• Attend Final Inspection Release and sign off
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of experience (Quality Assurance / Quality Control in inspection and testing of electrical and instrumentation equipment) • Strong communications and networking skills • Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of Quality in procurement phase of the projects • Experience of the needs of other disciplines and how these link to the Quality, particularly; Structural, Piping, E&I, Mechanical, Integrity • Familiar with EPC Oil & Gas Project • English writing, speaking and listening: Good
