Job Description
- Reviewing applications for licenses of brokerage companies’ establishment and licenses for various activities by brokers
- Supervise on the good performance of rules and regulations governing the activities of brokerage companies and prepare relevant reports
- Review the applications related to the establishment / conversion into investment and holding companies, carrying out approval / extension of professional qualifications of managers of investment and holding companies
- Review the applications related to the establishment, issuance, or renewal of operating licenses for different types of investment funds
- Review and ensure the implementation of rules and regulations related to investment funds and financial transactions, and continuous monitoring on financial institutions, as well as examining, reviewing, and approving documents
- Review and ensure the implementation of rules and regulations related to service providers financial institutions, investors, and continuous monitoring on their organs, as well as examining, reviewing, and approving documents
- Review and ensure the implementation of rules and regulations related to entities, financial and securities institutions; financial transactions, and continuous monitoring on the pillars of financial institutions as well as examining, reviewing, and approving documents
Requirements
- Good command in accounting and auditing standards Mastery of rules and regulations and the capital market processes - Good command in commercial law - Administrative correspondence and reporting skills - Knowledge of understanding, analyzing financial statements, markets, products, financial institutions, and corporate finance - Knowledge in calculating profit returns, risk, interest rate, valuation of stocks, and analyzing securities - Mastery of financial reporting mechanisms including information flow, accounts records, balance sheets, and profit and loss statement Required experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience Required fields of study: Master’s degree in accounting, auditing or financial management
