Food Sales Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Selling products
- Discovering sales leads in order to establish a continuous and successful sale.
- Design project standard operating procedures (SOP) for customers.
- Travel to customer meetings to explain the benefits of products to potential customers and demonstrate how the products are better than competitors’ products.
- Provide product introductions to customers regarding new products that explain the products’ technical features, customizations, and general requirements for optimal use, as well as how the products provide solutions to customers’ problems or issues.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.
- Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
- Create sales contracts for products.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand organizations requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
- Cooperate with marketing department and sales control systems.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with organizations, and maintaining them over time.
- Sales forecasting and goal management
- Inventory control and warehouse processes related to sales
- Prepare sales reports and dashboards
