Job Description
The objective of the role: Improve material loss in the factories, Control row materials balance, Coordinate company projects documentaries.
List of responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly raw material interplant review; customer raw material forecast review, and collaborate planning departments for Inventory Levels Control.
- Prepare monthly reports for raw material loss in factories. Hold improvement meetings in factories to decrease obvious and hidden waste.
- Prepare quality plans for all products. Evaluate product reports, work with Q.C. Department to determine hidden waste of product in question.
- Reviews the status of inventory shelf life. Prepares the inventory report to flag the company on risks of product expiration.
- Participate and prepare monthly/on-demand reporting on key indicators such as backlog, production forecast, OTIF, and inventory levels.
- Prepare the company's contract documentries.
Reporting to: Design and R&D Manager.
Length of Probation Period: 2 Months.
Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday 7:45 AM - 5 PM.
Travel requirements: Once a month within the country.
Requirements
EDUCATION BS.c/MS.c Industrial or Electrical Engineer is required EXPERIENCE Industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. SKILLS Knowledge of preparing reports is required. Must be able to understand both written and verbal instructions in English. Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight) Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office & ERP systems) Strong attention to detail and the ability to conduct audits Ability to remain highly organized PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work in normal office conditions and in the manufacturing plant and warehouses. Must be able to work 8 hours per day and be on his/her feet for extended periods of time.
