Job Description
- Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand
- Design and implementation of experiments to optimize existing and new materials and processes
- Provide advice on research and development options available to the organization
- Review, evaluate and select ideas and suggestions in order to improve the quality of services or develop new products
- Track industry and competitive trends, develop forecasting models and scenario analysis, examine strategic performance, spot emerging market opportunities, identify business threats, look for novel strategic solutions, and develop creative action plans.
- Monitor any developments in the research area and work out how these may affect the organization; and publish the results of significant research projects as required
