- Developing, implementation of Procurement Activities includes Procurement Planning, Market Research, Sourcing, Analyzing, Budgeting, Order Placement, Contracting, Expediting, Cost Controlling, Logistics and Delivery of all purchases. - Managing the value engineering & savings opportunities. - Following up all manufacturing orders and make sure all QC requirements are conducted. - Expediting and ensuring timely delivery of all orders. - Preparing related reports to the procurement activities progress. - Managing suppliers and make sure the best in price and quality are delivered. - Taking the necessary quotations from contractors/suppliers in accordance with Company Purchasing Procedures. - Managing Tenders and prepare commercial analysis to procurement Manager.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the same or related places.
- Familiar with steel products (Normal Grade and High Grade)
- Experience in the commercial areas of steel industry
- Having sociable personality as well as comfortability for connecting with others.
- Having a great knowledge of the market regarding supply, preparation and business deals.
- Ability to manage the supply team
- Consider the approach of using technological processes
- Understanding the techniques of negotiation
- Expertise and mastery in procurement and purchasing different grades of steel and steel sections , especially in the field of industry and locally market of steel products
- Prepare regular reports for management.
