We’re looking for a highly skilled executive director to help us fulfill this important undertaking. Reporting to the board of directors, the executive director will oversee the strategic and operational efficiency of our programs and staff. This seasoned leader not only understands current trends in the markets but has proven experience developing a business strategies plan and implementing it.
To thrive as a CEO you must be a prudent manager and an inspiring leader. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and will be able to see the “big picture” in a variety of settings. They will take action to enhance the company’s cash flow while keeping the human factor in perspective. The goal is to drive the company’s development and guide it towards long-term success.
- Manage overall operations and make major decisions affecting the organization
- Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team & Manage the organization's resources
- Build trust relations and Work closely with the board of directors and committees, informing, assessing, and addressing issues that affect the organization
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
- Developing and executing business strategies to achieve long and short-term goals.
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Negotiate or approve agreements and contracts for the organization
Requirements
• MSc/MA in business administration or relevant field • More than 15 years proven experience as CEO or in other top managerial position in the Distribution of products especially FMCG • Extensive experience at medium or large firms with over 300 employees • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing the vision • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong public and governmental sector dialogue abilities • Thorough understand of Trade Law, Business Environment, Budget Implementation, Market Positioning, and Competitors Tracking • Familiar with International contract terms and conditions • Compatible with Private sector vision and values • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, HR, finance • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills • Ideal Age Range: Minimum 45 • Fluent in English “both writing and oral” is an advantage
