Job Description

- Reviews Vendor/Client's technical documents and requirements.
- Controls subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
- Prepares the technical documentation for structure, civil and architecture requisitions.
- Preparing reports, designs and drawings.
- Making calculations about loads and stresses.
- Selecting appropriate construction materials.
- Providing technical advice.
- Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures.
- Prepares CSA material take-off.
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors.
- Administering contracts.

Requirements

- Bachelor/Master Degree in Civil Engineering. - Minimum 12 years of working experience in Structure/Civil discipline in oil and gas sector. - Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations - Proficient to the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. IPS, IGS, API, BS, ASTM, UBC, AISC, ASCE, ACI, AASHTTO, etc. - Technical software such as AUTOCAD, SAP, SAFE, ETABS, CIVIL 3D, etc. - Strong interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work with all levels of management. - problem-solving skills - Good attention to detail
