Job Description
The Islamic Republic of Iran has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Fars Six Cities Sanitation Improvement Project, and in order to accomplish the objectives of the projects, a Procurement Contract Specialist with the following requirements is needed.
The duration of the employment contract will be ONE YEAR based on Guidelines for the Procurement of Consultant Services of the Islamic Development Bank, however, this contract may be extended upon mutual consent of the parties.
Drafting and editing different types contracts, especially “Design, Build, Commissioning and Operation" Contracts.
Ensure that the bid schedule and Bidding Documents are properly structured and prepared
Monitor existing and or new contracts during the life of the contract to determine if all requirements are being met
Provide guidance to technical personnel involved in development of the statement of work and solicitation documents.
Requirements
Requirements: A Bachelor's or any higher degree, preferably in engineering fields Over 8-year Experience in the field of Procurement contracts preferably with experience in Water and wastewater Projects. Familiarity with DBO, EPC-EPD, E&P projects Ability to interpret and collect the claims of the projects Full Familiarity with the banking and financing laws and methods of the multilateral Development banks, especially the guidelines of the Islamic Development Bank. In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract agreements, as well as legal and contractual terminology. Strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office. Full mastery of Persian and English Language skills
