To manage operation and maintenance of the monitoring system as well as management of supervision activities in all technical and non-technical facilities area including electrical and mechanical components based on the SLA, policies, and procedures.
To establish well-defined and effective communication channels between the Facilities, vendors, internal and external customers
To manage SLA’s and monitor vendor performance and prepare daily /weekly/monthly reports within deadlines relevant to supervision of all vendors’ activities in switch centers such as ITS and NWG to make sure that the quality of their activities is in line with the standards and company policies specially cabling policy and uptime TIA942 standards.
To manage operation and maintenance of Facilities infrastructures’ monitoring system making sure that correct toolset is available to individuals on a real-time basis and send the situational report to the management.
To analyze multivendor stats and reports to deliver highly available Facilities services with end-to-end service visibility
To analyze overall facilities monitoring system’s operation availability, and provide well-presented and useful decision-supporting information to all levels of MTNIrancell management
To ensure detailed documentation for documents such as power allocation, container floor layout, power Cable, LAN and fiber roots and rack layout is in place and updated accordingly
To interface the Facility department with all groups in MTNIrancell, to ensure the mutual benefit is achieved
To manage all monitoring tools for facilities including electrical and mechanical optimization of technical and nontechnical and upgrade projects and supervising teams for Monitoring of each alarm & log in 4 disciplines (Power, Cooling, Fire & Environment). Assigning any alarm and log to an incident report and continually following till resolution (by monitoring raised WO (Work Orders) to FAC maintenance team or Monitoring Maintenance team)
To manage all the relevant team members to ensure that alarm and log are on track and implement all supervision policies and proactively following expansion of power monitoring system based on each switch center’s expansion and data logging systems.
To manage change request meetings between involved parties and prepare related reports Calculating maintenance management matrix (MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time between Failures)) for assets.
To ensure all faults are logged correctly (in Trouble-Ticketing System and other defined tools) and related reports are prepared
To implement and manage a reliability centric maintenance strategy.
To review the DR plan with biannual fail-over testing and provide related plans and suggestions
To ensure that there are sufficient processes and procedures in place for escalation to third parties like NWG, ITS, AR.
To ensure that vendors develop processes and procedures for all aspects of their work.
To ensure that FAC-NOC provides effective Fault Management of all systems and actively search for improvements to operating procedures
Requirements
• BSc Degree in Engineering /Electrical Engineering (Power Supply branch preferably), or Mechanical Engineering (with very good knowledge in electrical), or Project Management (with very good knowledge and skill in electrical & mechanical) • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others • Experience working in a medium to large organization • Fluent in English
