Job Description

- Configure, optimize, and support Oracle and Postgres relational databases with a focus on Reliability, Availability, Scalability, and Maintainability.
- Design, develop, and implement complex database systems, programs, and applications.
- Designs, develops and maintains transactional databases and data warehouses.
- Create and Maintain SQL Stored Procedures
- Create and Maintain User-Defined Functions
- Job Management of Automation Tasks
- Manages and maintains the databases, performs troubleshooting, and tuning when necessary.
- Participates in the design/planning of new databases and related technology.
- Implements ODI/OGG/jobs/scripts to support the applications and interfaces between them.
- Work closely with Business and analytical staff to define new project requirements.
- Work with users to identify and develop system requirements taking into account security best practices, desired results, hardware limitations, and operating requirements.


Requirements

Requirements: - 5-7 years’ experience as Oracle Database Administrator and has held a Senior DBA level position. - 3+ years in SQL scripting and tuning. - 2+ years in Linux Bash scripting. - Expert experience administering, monitoring, and maintaining Oracle Rac Clusters including backup and restore. - Experience with enterprise performance and HA monitoring. - Experience with database backup and restore. - Able to design database tables. Need to be familiar with first, second, and third normal forms. Understand data integrity, referential integrity, primary key, and foreign key. - Familiar with Oracle and Postgres development. Familiar with PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL. Being able to create stored procedures, functions, synonyms, views, tables, constraints, and indexes.
