As a Database administrator, you are responsible for the performance, integrity and security of databases. you will be involved in planning, developing and troubleshooting of databases.
Responsibilities - Provide guidance and support to Application Developers - Assist with schema design and SQL query tuning - Install, tune, implement and upgrade OS and DBMS installations - Write and deploy SQL patches - Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades - Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in administering, managing and tuning relational databases.
- Experience with MariaDB Galera cluster.
- Experience with ProxySQL.
- Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts.
- Good understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Expertise in SQL.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success.
- Ability to manage MongoDB clusters.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
