Job Description

•Establish methods for review and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory in distribution sites as well as manufacturing plants.
•Meet materials requirements, manage material flow, and to plan and prevent factory and warehouse shortages and stock outs while managing and minimizing inventory investment to achieve total cost goals.
•Provide analysis and metrics and work with manufacturing plants and purchasing to drive improvements in lot sizes and lead times for all materials supplied internally and externally.
•Supervises Physical Inventory and Cycle counting processes to ensure compliance and inventory accuracy is continually improving to exceed financial and accounting goals. Provide analysis of root cause of errors and initiate corrective action.
•Manages the procurement process of materials and establishment of delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material. Ensures the placed orders are delivered on time
•Directs transfer of materials to meet production schedules and shipping schedules.
•Supervises the raw material available and consumption; generates monthly inventory report to be presented to management.
• Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
•Directs production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.
•Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.
•Maintains and ensures accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
•Works with purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
•Oversees shipping and receiving functions related to purchased parts and finished goods.
•Identifies opportunities to reduce transportation costs and charges.
•Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods.
•Performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory.
•Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.

Requirements

Requirements • BSC/MSC in Industrial Engineering or Management Industrial. • At least +8 years of relevant experience related to Production planning and orders. • Fluent in English Language • Qualified in computer skills including Ms Office, engineering tools etc. • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
