Job Description

• To Monitor, analyze, and forecast market data and trends
• To collect data from partners, competitors, and the business environment
• To gather data on marketing activities of portfolio companies
• To liaise with research agencies to prepare research reports based on priorities
• To evaluate market competition by comparing the company's services to competitors' ones
• To find new opportunities and potentials in the market regarding the marketing plan
• To design and run qualitative and quantitative research plans for different focus areas to gather data with the highest standards
• To attend and participate in the company- and industry-sponsored conferences
• To monitor traditional and social media for clients, competitors, and related events using a variety of inputs and tools
• To compile daily media reports, analyze and summarize coverage, and flag important articles and issues to top management in real-time
• To analyze social media conversations, events, and trends and be able to translate this analysis into succinct business insights
• To ensure weekly and monthly reports and ongoing monitoring is delivered on a timely basis
• To conduct in-depth research on topics of importance to top management
• To create research briefings on specific focus areas and issues

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s Degree in Statistics/Marketing Management/Economics /Industrial Engineering • At least 3 Years of relevant experience • Familiar with national and international marketing • Fluent in English VISTA is the investment management firm of MTNIrancell that provides venture and growth capital, private equity investments, and advisory services to digital technology, media, and telecom sectors.
