Product Development Manager

Job Description

- Managing the product development process from the concept phase to the post-launch analysis phase.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Continuously review the business needs, define priorities, outline milestones and deliverable, and identify opportunities and risks
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan (planning control of the project)
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverable
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments
